The Brown Butter Supper Club Returns on 2/19: SLOW BURN
Brown Butter Lovers,
I'm thrilled to announce that the Brown Butter Supper Club is back for its 7th installment and first dinner of 2025! And we're shaking things up in the best possible way.
For this special not-quite-Valentine's Day dinner, we're partnering with The Ramspeck, Decatur's newest and most exciting event space. If you haven't heard of it yet, you will - it's bringing a fresh energy to the Decatur dining scene that I can't wait for you to experience.
Let me introduce you to SLOW BURN.
This menu is a love letter to the art of building flavor. We're exploring how gentle heat can bloom into something bold and beautiful, tracing that journey through five family-style courses. Think warming spices, tender braised meats, chile-kissed broths, and desserts that leave you with a lingering warmth.
Here's a peek at what's in store:
We'll start with a black pepper-kissed strawberry spritz and my signature focaccia - this time studded with figs and gorgonzola, served alongside whipped butter that's been touched with Urfa chili and maple. From there, we build through dishes like herb-stuffed chicken, mole-braised short ribs, and a chocolate olive oil cake that brings the heat in the most delicious way.
Each dish is designed to be shared, passed around the table, creating those moments of connection that make supper clubs so special. And yes, there will be plenty of brown butter moments throughout the evening!
